XHTML
 
Before mentioning XHTML, it is useful to understand HTML. HTML - Hypertext Markup Language - is the language in which most Web pages are written. It determines how documents are linked together and defines the page structure and hence how it will be viewed by a Web browser.
 
XHTML - Extensible HTML - allows the language to be modified and extended. This need for flexibility is in response to the phenomenal growth of the Internet and the need to accommodate specialisation within Web pages.
 
We follow the standards laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in our Web design and ensure that pages are individually validated before publishing. We use XHTML in conjunction with CSS - Cascading Style Sheets - in our designs.
